DC cycle question

When DC speaks of doing the 4 week blast and then the 2 week cruise. Does it matter what ester of Test your using? Anyone got experience with this?

I was talking about attending Mardi Gras for 4 weeks and then taking a Carnival Cruise to the Carribean for 2 weeks.
