According to DC trainning protocol any given body part is hit twice every 8 days. for example:

mon- chest, shoulders, triceps, back
tues
wed-hams, quads, calves, biceps
thurs
fri-chest, shoulders, triceps, back
sat
sun
mon-hams, quads, calves, biceps

*2-3 exersies per body part and only one working set (rest pause style)

lets say you do mondays chest, back, tri routine (Which is fairly low volume) and you stay sore untill you hit the same routine again on Friday. Becuase youre trainning while you are still sore Does this constitute over trainning?

to answer the question you asked

i would say NO

it does not contitute overtraining just because your sore

may personal experience with DC is the soreness doesnt last
as long as high volume

you incorporating widowmakers???

:)

I mean, if you are traning hams for example, you would do 2 exercises;

EX. Stright leg deadlifts and laying leg curls

Where are you getting that from?

That's incorrect, unless you're on a specialized split with a widowmaker or something of that nature (which I doubt you should be on).

Otherwise it's just one rest pause set per exercise except for back thickness and quads which are both 2 straight sets. Forearms are one straight set, and calves are one straight set done DC style (each rep has a 5 second negative and 15 second stretch).

I guess i must be alittle misinformed. ive been trying to find out as much info as I can, but the main web page for intesemuscle.com seems to be down...Where else can I get some credible information to learn how to train DC.

by the way what is a "widowmaker" lol

**broken link removed**

for trying to piece together what this guy says and what that guy said it's worth it just to buy the disc, takes all the guess work out of it, explains everything, shows the stretches, etc., it's worth it if you really want to do DC the right way

I highly recommend you dont do my methods.

highly....

I see how you jump around in here from training routine to training routine every 4 days or so....

Trust me on this.....its not for you (and i dont mean that as a putdown)

"Its just not for everyone" and your posts tell me that you are almost the posterboy for that statement. This has disaster written all over it.

You need to jump on some other training bandwagon.

My stuff is for guys who grasp what I write about, how to get to point B from point A, and what builds muscle mass.

You are still in "what I read in the latest muscle magazine i picked up at the grocery store mode"

You need to train some other ways and get all your curiousity out of your system for about 3-4 years and then maybe take a look....but not now.

Very well said.

Its not that I am changing routines every 4 days.. Im mearly reserching differnt styles of trainning. I already train in Mentzer HIT style, and I feel that DC follows some of the some similar principles (from what Ive read about it).

bro,
then you need to research more...about DC..
many differences like training frequency, there are no singles rest paused etc...

DC is correct as always. Find another routine and stick to it for a while. I spent almost 2 years reading up on DC training and following the progress of others that were doing the TRUE DC training. I spent 1 year on my own with it then hired one of DC's guys from IM and worked with him just to make sure I was doing it correctly. I had about 15 years of training under my belt before I even attempted DC and made the best gains ever. But you also have to know how to read your body and know when its time to take a break, not to mention that your nutrition and rest need to be in order. No one is saying you should never do DC, just don't jump on board because other people are. If you take your time and learn all you can, you will have a longer and more productive training/bodybuilding career.
