DC training for newbies?

My buddy has started to train with me and since I am following DC training methods would my buddy be able to do this also?

I had him do a workout with me last week and I made him to 3 sets per exercise instead of just one hard one...with rest-pause etc.

kinda like a 3set pyramid. 12-10-8 .

Just curious.. he wants me to help get him into shape but I really dont wanna go to the gym 2x per day.. one for me then him..
 
Derek, Don't mess the kid up, teach him DC's program the right way. Just leave out statics and static pumps, he can do rest/pause and have him do 5 exercises 3 times per week.

He needs to see what recouperation he has to decide if this program is for him.

Don't forget diet is just as important as DC's routine.

You need to lift big and eat big to get big...
 
cool.. he is on the chubby side.. gained like 50lbs in the last few years...

well I will put him on the same program.. but just 1 set to failure for a few weeks then restpause..
