Ive been reading alot about this training style and it has me extremely intrigued. has anyone used this training style?

Yes.

I currently DC. I love it. I love the balls to the wall intensity of it. It is giving me results. It isn't geared towards begginers to weight training though. There are lots of mixed reveiws about it. Some people i talked to said they couldn't handle it, that it leads to injury. Some people cant stand not doing 12 sets per bodypart. Its all about personal preference, and finding what works for you. All i can say is that if you give it a go follow it to a T. I tryed tweaking it at first, it doesen't help(i added widowmakers for lagging body parts). It lead me to overtraining. Got sicker than a dog. It is heavily outlined and discussed in depth over on intensemuscle.com in the dogg pound.

ya but not really it still leaves alot of unanswered questions

for example which exercises to do RP on or statics or widowmakers..

could you help me out with making a routine?

And i too love balls to the intensity with 4-5 warmup sets...and the stretching stuff he talks about is awsome and so true.

Personally.........

if you take the time to do the research, and understand the concepts fully you will have more success with the program. No one wants to spoon feed you a routine. You pick exercises that work well for you, compound movements(not isolation exercises). The exercises that are not rest paused are quads, and back thicknes like tbar rows, or bb rows for saftey reasons.
Here is the link to all the info for newbies. Read each one of those, then read em again. If you still have questions well...........i don't know???:D There are also journals of other peoples workouts that can help you get some ideas. After doing some more research if you still have some questions just ask.

cool cool ya i read a shit ton of that stuf it makes alot more sense i think ima hold off for awile tho ive only been doing my current routine for 6 weeks and im doing a rest/high rep week this week and thought about changing but ima do this for 6 weeks more.

If you want to learn DC you should buy the training DVD. I would also suggest spending a few weeks reading posts and journals over at intensemuscle before you start.

The main thing you will learn is DC is not just training...Its a lifestyle!

IMPORTANT!

Make sure you do your research before posting questions or threads on DC. There are already thousands of threads on countless boards worth of information. People are there to help you but you wont get spoon fed (like gordo said) information by those that know best.

Agree. I'm by no means an expert, but buying the DVD is the best thing you can do. You can actually read too much into it. It's not supposed to be as complex as people try and make it. The DVD will clear up most of your questions...
