I gotta give respect to those that train legs/back as hard as the other bodyparts. Come showtime, you will be able to tell who has been deadlifting and who has not.
Good deadlifting. No bouncing, each lift is a DEADlift. One question tho, why don't you wrap your thumbs around the bar? I use the same "false" grip when warming up sometimes on deads but I would find it a lot harder to not wrap them around when going for any high reps.
Shelby, very impressive! I bet you could get the 405x15 right now after watching what you did with 550. 585x8 will be very reachable for you so keep at it!
And here I was all happy about a PB this week of 385 x 9. As with all your vids, I'm very impressed man. When's the next one and what exercise will it be is all I want to know.
just curious what type of shoes do you pull in? I've got some olympic weightlifting shoes and i read an article by Mark Ripptoe about how they can even be beneficial in deadlift, more quad drive apparently.
