I am from the DC-Balt area. It demonstrates the failure of the Wash Wizards to see the core of the Pistons about to win a title.
I only liked the Wizards because they came from Baltimore (the old Balt Bullets). The Wiazrds are a pathetic franchise. You gotta like the Pistons.
I actually like Karl Malone. I dont like Shaq (but I do admit he is quick witted), Kobe, Payton, and the Lakers in general. Its great to see a team of overinflated egos getting their ass kicked py a real "TEAM" of lesser stardom. Shaq keeps refusing to give credit to Detroit. Does it really matter? They are about to become one of the biggest upset losers in recent sports history. The Lakers will NEVER come back. This is no fluke-its not predicated upon luck or hot shooting or a 'streak'. They are simply able to outplay the Lakers with great defense and hard work. It wont change-even of it goes back to LA. It could be over already-they are really one Kobe 3pointer from having been swept!
