A couple months ago there was a discussion if DHEA with Humanofort would be needed. I mentioned I was going to stop the DHEA for about a month or so and see if there was any difference. Someone had asked if I would post my results, so, here they are...
I was taking Humanofort, 200mg BID, along with DHEA, 25mg, BID. I decided to stop the DHEA for about a month, then restart to see any differences.
I don't think I noticed much difference as far as recovery, immunity, etc. while off the DHEA. I then had a 2 week "wash-out" of the Humanofort before starting the DHEA. Again, I didn't notice much of a differnence as far as recovery and immunity, etc. I started the DHEA again about 6 weeks after I had stopped it and I immediately noticed an increase in morning erections and some acne that I wasn't experiencing before.
I'm not sure what to make of this necessarily. Despite all this said, I still do "feel" that Humanofort is doing something (believe me, I know that isn't the most scientific reasoning, but I don't really feel this way about any other supplement... I could be totally wrong). However, I will continue to stay off of it for awhile, then restart, while taking DHEA to see if there is a difference. That may help to make the results/actions a little more clear to observe such as the DHEA. I will also continue DHEA... and perhaps Pregnenolone, 10mg, BID as well.
