Well I wasn't in the first call out. I really think I should of been but we all think that. SOOOOO I'm between 6th and 12th. A few people I talked to said I was the best in my group so hopefully 6th. Shawn Ray wrote good things about me so that's awesome. Carlo did an awesome job with me and I'm VERY HAPPY with how I turned out. We'll see where I end up and what I do next. Thanks for the support everyone.

darrin ive known you for a few years now and your one of the good guys in this sport, just keep grinding and doing your thang! You got some good people around you that support you, whatever you decide to do next bro!

I would love to compete with you again so how about nationals in November??/

Thanks guys. I'm ok cuz I KNOW I came in with my best look to date. My wife is up tomorrow so I'm really pulling for her. She is planning on doing the North Americans in 4 weeks so I'm thinking I may jump in as well. Hell I'm in shape already and maybe with a tweak here and there me and Carlo Filippone will NAIL THIS SUCKER! We'll see. Now it's time to ENJOY LAS VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude you looked bad ass, I have seen you around for some years now but never said hi, it took awhile to figure out who you are and then you always are with people when I come across you in person. Good work, keep it up you are an inspiration to those of us who don't work quite so hard but appreciate you who do work so hard! You have worked hard for years and it shows bro! Your wife was at one time an inspiration to my wife by the way. My wife is not petite in any way and she was inspired awhile back by pictures or your girl posing (back shots) that she posted on another board, unless I am totally confused. So we are small fans of both of you.

Well I got a MAJOR reality check last night. I got 11th place which I was not expecting at all. So I will not compete at the NA's this year. I obviously need to make alot of changes to my physique. I need to go back to being a heavy weight and in order to that I need to really fill out my frame. So offseason begins one week from monday. I'm going to enjoy Las Vegas and then relax at home for a few days and finally start growing. I do not want to hit another show and lose out on those few weeks of growing only to end up in the middle of the pack again. It was fun but I guess I just wasn't up to par.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!! Nothing worse than people blowing smoke up your ass telling you how awesome you are. I love the boards but the down side is people will make you feel like you are the best out there when you just may not be. I know I can be a top 5 National level guy (I've come damn close) but obviously I need to fix a few things to get there. I just need someone to really tell me what it is I need to do.

i know what you are saying buffd but, guys, when they see you post pics are being honest with you.. you look awesome.. the problem is that they are not seeing the competitors of which you will be competing.. trust me, you looked great and most would love to have the physique you displayed.. but, like phil stated, there are some competitors that have everything in spades.. not fair at all but, harsh reality that many of us have faced..
the big issue was the size as you know.. it is sometimes a reality check when you are the big guy on the block and the ya see some of the others outthere.. it makes ya really back up and re evaluate what you need to do.. but, the first step is realizing what you need (which you do) then make it happen.. have fun in vegas then huncker down..

I'm staying an extra day in Vegas but when I get back tomorrow night I think you and I should talk. Me and my wife had a LONG talk and decided that we just need to focus a whole lot more this year.
