To eat or not to eat that is the question. Flame away about my diet, but it worked foe quite some time.:p

Alright i have been a longtime lurker, and now poster. I started this journey at 335#'s with about 27 percent bf. I currently sit at about 295 with about 18% bf. I have stalled in my diet. I want to continue to lose the fat, while making gains, or at least keeping my lbm.

Here is a sample diet:

4:45am Preworkout: 1 serving of BuzzSaw
6:30am Postworkout: 100grams Whey iso i serving of waxie maize
7:40am Meal one: 10 eggs 5 whole 5 white, 1 slice of whole wheat bread
About 11:00am: 3 cans of tuna about 66 grams of protein 15grams or heart healthy nuts.
About 2:30-3:00pm: 1 can of chicken breast rinsed again about 65 grams of protein. 15 grams of heart healthy nuts.

Now this is where i suppose it goes to crap. I will have a 50 gram whey/cassien blend about 5 if hungry. If not i just cook dinner for the family. It is always home cooked and will consist of lean meats, canned vegi's and a carb source. For ex. I might do Baked chicken breast, canned green beans, then mashed potatoes, or a slice of wheat bread with butter.
Another example would be spagetti with lean ground beef, green beans, and a peice of garlic bread.

8:30pm before bed a 50 gram cassien shake to try to get my protein in.

My main dilemna is making myself eat. You see between my third and fourth meal there will have been 4 hours sometimes, and my stomach is not telling me to eat. I'm just at a loss.

Maybe i am way off base here and have no idea what i'm doind???? I plan on hiring a trainer at the beggining of this year. Also i train DC, if that matters. Lift 3 days a week, and do abs and cardio 3 days a week on my off days. My cardio has been at about 30-45 minutes average HR of 145-150.

Eat when Hungry!

The best advice I can give here is to eat only when you are hungry. Phil Hernon has been preaching this on the forums for a long time. Trust me, it works wonders and it is well, an extremely simple concept! When you become hungry, make sure you have setup some healthy ratios (Ex. 50g carb/40g protein/18g fat) for your weight loss goals and stick to it.

I would ALWAYS recommend hiring one of our Professional Trainers here on PM. They will help guide you to the results you desire.

Hey man! First off congrats on cutting your fat...I hope you continue to lean out and progress...here's my suggestions...

1. Equal out your meal ratios. Your all over the place with your carb/protein/fat intake each meal. It's like a roller coaster. Try to even them out so your body can consistently digest the same ratios and work more efficiently.
2. Add more efa's in there. Don't be afraid to take in fat. Efa's work wonders for giving me energy...(olive oil, etc....do some research).
3. Cut bread out. Not good for leaning out. (I know it sucks)
4. Try to get fresh veggies, not canned.
5. Eat when your hungry. Don't force feed, you don't need it.

Take it for what it's worth : )

your diet needs help man. You mention in allot of your posts about hiring a trainer. Do it man. Give Phil a ring man. He is a good guy. You will feel/look much better when you get the diet right.

If you're looking for a PT, just hire Phil, it'll be the best decision you'll make.
He's only 250 for a year, and he'll give you a work out plan, and diet. He's a IFBB Pro(I'm sure you know this).
You'll be in and out of the gym in no time with him, I love his work outs, and I'm never going back to another type. :p

Thats a great deal man!

As far as the diet is concerned, is this the same diet you used to drop to your currnet weight? Where alot of people go wrong is they never switch up their diet as they lose weight and gain LBM etc...I think you should switch up your macro nutrients as well, you diet looks fairly low carb (save pre and post workout) and high protein...it looks as though your not getting the proper macro ratios, and possibly inadequate cals...also where are the fruits and veggies?

I disagree. I don't think you should change your macros if your eating when hungry. Unless you start averaging 9-10 meals a day I think that's pointless.

250 a year???-i am DEFINITLY going to contact Phil!!!

I personally have had some experience w/ Shelby. He's another diet guy you could check out. I've had pretty solid results thus far.
