I have used DIM for years. It has some good studies to show it prevents some prostrate cancers as well as it lowers your bad estrogen. My endo was surprised when my estrogen levels were in range. He asked if i was taking adex or aromasin and i said no just DIM. I do gets bouts of gyno once in a while but it usually goes away. Im not sure how much of any of this is to do with DIM but i take it anyway.
DIM user here, been on HRT for 5 years. I also take Adex at .25 MG about every 2 weeks. I still use a little DBOL and will use Nolva with that as I can feel breast soreness after a few days. I use a brand that also has resveratrol in it, seems like nothing but upside.
I thought I would add to the DIM conversation as I just did 23andMe which identified a genetic issue of processing estrogen. Makes since because I always tend to bloat and get moon face fairly easily on.
Started taking 200mg x 2 a day and everything is golden. DIM isn't a synthetic like AI so it doesn't have as much negative effect on your body.
I highly recommend everyone do 23andMe as it tells you more than you would ever want to know about yourself and what supplements/medications to take or not to take.
From what I've been reading its a good start. Yes there are stronger ones available but this is cheap and works and has other health benefits as well. I just started using it 2 days ago and I'm using 300mg daily.
