Its illegal to sell as a dietary supplement but legal in other uses. Im not sure about possession.

DNP was legal at one point in time and approved by the FDA for consumption. Of course you have the people who go overboard, there have only been 4 confirmed deaths from DNP through oral consumption for purposes of fat loss.

If you are knowledgable about it, and its use and potential effects, you run little to no risk of coming close to death.

As far as legality, 2,4-Dinitrophenol is a legal chemical compound to purchase. However, since 9/11 attacks it has been put on a watch list for purchases in large quantity, and you will typically need to be a chemical research company or R&D company to come close to buying it.

To summarize, it is legal, however, when capped for consumption it may run into the grey area as far as legality goes. Just play it safe as with anything else you may use.

That stuff is harsh, don't think I'd want anything to do with it. Make sure it's the exact dose it's suppossed to be as you don't want to over due it. The sides are rediculous, not worth it in my opinion.

I doubt either. That would be the same as if someone sold alcohol at a liquor store and someone died. Sure alcohol is legal, but dnp isnt scheduled like other rec drugs so im sure there would be some heafty fines and maybe a lawsuit from the persons family.

Fines or winning a lawsuit would be out of the question because dnp has been out since the 1930's so people who use it except the risk. What would occur if someone of celebrity status died it would be demonized like ephedra. In the U.S. we believe just take it away and put people in jail for using it opposed to educating the masses and then making adults responsible(novel concept).

Someone could get a manslaughter charge if they sold it to someone for consumprion and that person died. Actually I think this has already happened in the several years ago to someoe who was sourcing it in caps for consumption.
