Hey guys!Im making some decent strenght gains while cutting.Does this automatically mean im at least maintaining my muscle mass?Or can one gain strenght during a cut and lose muscle too....
Good questions.... I'm not posotive, but I would say your definitely on the right track... as normally increased strength doesn't go along with muscle loss... unless you are on some serious CNS stims or something.
if u feel your strength gains are still improving, then, that only says that your still breaking down muscle fibers to enhance growth, and thats what bb is about strength to improve the breakdown of muscle fibers. so i would say yes to muscle growth while dieting, it may not be much but youll retain a little bit of it. bulking is the way to go to really pack the size on. im sure you know that.

Yes i do .But say for argument sake,im not gaining muscle. Will this new aquired strenght bring me instant big gains once i start bulking and eating more?Cause I am aware that when cutting, gains are very hard to come by unless you really know how to partion your food properly,an art that not too many people know how to do.I was just wondering that the strenght i gained will serve me big time once i get back to bulking.
I would say yes also.Im old now but at age 28 and on about my 6th cycle. First one I did right. I whet from 180 lbs at about 11% to 195 and about 8.5%. Your doing good.
