Donating blood mid cycle

we were discussing the idea of donating blood before and after a cycle to keep your blood count in safe regions and one of the guys dicussing this said that it would be better to donate just once in the middle of the cycle. It would seem to me that this may lower some of the hormone levels that you have stabilized in your body??

any of you guys do any research or have any ideas on this??

could their realy be a benifit to donating a pint of blood mid cycle??

and if you did donate blood while on woulden't that blood be considered "tainted" and should not be given to anybody else?

all the way around it jst seesm to be a bad idea to me but some other folks seem to think it may be plausable

you can goto your Dr and tell him you tried to donate blood and your iron was to high. Tell him that they told you, you will need to donate blood as a therapuetic donor to lower it. Your Dr can give you a script for the local center to get therapuetic draws. Mine gives me once per month draws. This is really needed if your on any added Test as your blood levels change. Hope this helps.
