For the sake of discussion this is about lateral raises. Here are the represented number of sets and reps, each done to failure:
Dumbbells:
50lbs/12 reps
50lbs/8 reps
50lbs/6 reps
50lbs/4 re[s
Cables:
25lbs/12 reps
25lbs/8 reps
25lbs/6 reps
25lbs/4 reps
Since all the rep ranges are the same, and going to failure with each rep, is there a benefit of dumbells over cables, or visa versa in this example?
