faith and politics forum?

I think there should be a forum in which we could go and express our view on faith and politics. These two subjects are embedded in the fabric of our society and everything else evolves from them. So many people have questions about these issues, I think it would be great to hear what other members think about this, it doesn't matter what faith you are or if you are a republican or democrat, everybody has something good to bring to the table. Obviously there would have to be rules imposed, you have to be kind and respectful to other people's views, and no offensive replies under any circumstance. I'd be interested what other guys think about this. May God bless you and keep you .

I think big A has a board specific to the politic side. and agree cant think of any wars that have been started that arent linked to Money, Religion, or politics. I think i will get attacked alot for this but i believe both religion (organized) and politics are both out for the green.

The exact reason this forum was Made. Problem is everyone said they wanted such a forum but then very few bothered to Go there.

This is an advanced bodybuilding forum. We do have and allow plenty of of topic talk but not religion, politics, or anything racist. Any of that will get erased as this isnt the place and we dont want the drama it brings.

all points well taken, I just think that given a chance it would benefit the members, I visit some of the world issue boards and it is actually refreshing to read what people think about these things, and really you hardly get idiots that only want to start trouble, most people just have legitimate concerns and are looking for insights. Some of you said this is a BB board, but we have a counseling forum and financial forum and technology forum, so it is not strictly a BB board. Just a thought. God bless you my friends.

Well, That's a little harsh bro, I take the spiritual part of my life very serious and it has made me a much better person I believe, and I would think there is a lot of people that feels the same. And politics I agree there's a lot of crap and corruption going on, the people we elect to office shape the make up of this country, and I think there is a lot of ill informed people out there when it comes to the people that run for office, we need to know what the people we elect think, for as a man thinks so is he. Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter, don't think they're gonna be offering this type of forum anytime soon. As for me I will keep on praying for all my brothers here at PM. You see, anyone can call you what they want, when they don't face you, or know you personally. Therefore, the discussions will always get bitter, for the most part. On Professional Muscle, we like to keep the peace, when it comes to deep subjects like religion. If you want to go on a forum that lets you talk about religion, you could go to Muscular Developement. I am warning you now, there are guys over there that will insult you in ways you never knew, hence, we don't want that here. Your title and your civil attitude will tell people what you stand for.

Any forum that has a religion or political subforum has members which hate each other guts personally. And then they take those fights to other parts of the forum as well. Not worth it imo. Isnt there enough fighting here as it is lol?

Well, not every one gets involved in these debates has a level head, LOL. You got to realize that Religion in this world throughout history has been involved in some of the worst things known to man and all in the name of God. That being said, most are turned off by it. You don't need to debate, people already know what you stand for. Your true test is how you act and respond to others without mentioning what you stand for. Believe me, people will be watching you and your witness (character).

I agree Pesty. I get along hell of alot better with people when religion and politics are not discussed/debated. I like the atmosphere here at PM and I wouldnt want things to change..
