That's all I have to say.

X2....He definitely turned the Vikings around and got them into the play-offs. I'm happy for him, he's one hell of a competitor

Dont worry he will choke, playoffs and cold weather will get to him.

Are you kidding me....He is the man, he will do just fine. Look at what he has done for Minnesota thus far! Viks going all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all the way.... no way:D

As someone said earlier...I just want to see Favre lose first game in playoff and retire again, give a sad and heart-filled farewell speech and then sign with the colts as a back-up. Atleast there he will have a chance at a Ring.

i hope the vikings play the packers in the playoffs and get stomped. the vikings always choke and always will. why favre wanted to go to the vikings is beyond me. what a stab in the back. i'm from wisconsin right by GB, and favre and his retirement shit was just annoying. i'm glad rogers finally got to play and show how good he really is after all the talk about how he could never replace the legend.

Yeah, the Vikings really struggled the first 2 times they played the Packers. All signs point to them having trouble again. If you really don't know why Favre wanted to sign with the Vikings you must not watch football. The pack didn't want him back, and he clearly wanted revenge. The Vikings have the best running back in the NFL in AP, and were a division winner last year with Jackson starting. They were predicted to win the division again this year before even signing Favre. Hmmmm, almost too perfect of an opportunity for revenge if you ask me, and it seemed to work out perfectly. I could give about 20 more reasons of why he signed with the Vikings, but if you don't get it by now, you never will. He also wanted a Super Bowl, what team that needed a quarterback had a better shot of winning it?

As for the cold weather comment, hate to fill you in buddy but the Vikings won't be playing any cold weather playoff games. Their first game is at home, and their second game will either be at home or in New Orleans (both dome games). The Super Bowl is in Miami.

Like Favre or hate him, you have to admit he is one of the toughest competitors of all time. I don't think anyone was expecting him to have the season he did this year and I couldn't be happier. I hope the Vikings win the Super Bowl so everyone who criticized his return will shut up.

don't get me wrong i like favre and what he has done, but mark my words the vikings will choke in the playoffs.

I think a lot of us want to see Green Bay play the viqueens, we are a much better football team than the viqueens. I think Rogers will have a field day with the viqueen secondary. Oh and yeah Woodson and company will feast on favre!!!!!

Favre is a great qb but I think with time Rodgers will make us all forget about Favre.

Rodgers is good but are you kidding me?????

Kaiser:

Are you serious? The same guy who couldn't start for the Falcons and got traded?:D

He spent most of his early time here chasing Tail at American Pie on Roswell Road. He was good to hang out with but I would have never, ever, envisioned the career he put together. Incredible.

Yes Peckerwood, I dont care what is said about him. It takes a whole team to win the superbowl. It takes one man to set stability, longevity, and persistence records. I hold him as one of the best athletes in NFL history. No, I didn't say winningest, I simply said best athlete. The guy is a machine. Just this week he sets, yet another record of being the only 40 year old to go to the playoffs. The guy had the most consecutive starts in history, doesn't that say anything for his resillience? Hands down choice for me, for all around best athlete, but others will argue. And no, I'm not a Vikings fan. But I have to say, and I've said it since I saw the team come together, Peterson and Favre make for a force to be reconed with. Either way, has anyone set more longevity or resilience records? The guy just doesn't get a boo-boo and run off stage like most QBs do.

As fo cold affecting him, well, hasn't this guy played in Green Bay his whole career? And someone actually brings up cold as his kryptonite? Are you kidding me?

Brett is a great guy and comes from a good family , his dad was a hrad nose prick but he could easly get a team to follow him into hell just like Brett does now.
I went to the same highschool and played for his dad "Irv" and graduated with his little sister. I aked her what the hell he was thinking when he pulled the whole retire ,not retire shit and she said he just can't stay away from the game and if they told him he would have to pay them to play he would.

his nephew Dylan Farve just signed with Mississippi State and is heads and shoulders better than Brett was in highschool. He is a little short 5"10" but he is still young and might grow a couple inches (I hope) he set all kinds of state records last year as a junior and again this year as a senior.

Brett comes from good Genes , both his brothers were great at ball and the little sister was great at basketball. He will play untill he is physicaly not able to

Kaiser:

I guess I'm one of the older guys on here and I think that Brett just reminds me more of the "throwback" quarterbacks of yesteryear when I first started watching football. The Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr type. Not the "pretty boy", perfect mechanics type players heralded so much today. He just reminds me of a time when the NFL was more smashmouth, get it done, I will kick your butt type of ball.
