Just had to say-

We took the family to see Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend (aka my Mom and Dad)... it's about 6:30am and my 75 YEAR OLD Mom is getting ready to hit the gym... she still goes 3-4 times per week... pretty cool.

Maybe I'll get my butt up off the couch and head there shortly too then :D
 
Whao! She sounds real inspirational - my gf doesn't do any exercise apart from our vegetable garden - and it is hard to convince her too! I guess ur mom as always exercised though - I find you either have it in you or you don't...
 
Nice, but I would appreciate it if she would clean up her chalk after she finishes her HIT training. And Im freakin tired of unloading her squat bar!
 
pretty inspiring. if you stick with it throughout the years its easy to keep going even until your 80's. i have seen an 87 year old man lifting ( not much) in the gym. made me stand there and give him a silent clap. good for your mom. hopefully we all can be like that at her age.
 
Thats cool myo! hopefully that will be me and my wife someday.
 
That is awesome! Very inspiring!!

My grandmother was 84 when she passed away. We went to the assisted living home to move her things out and nurse came in to give us her condolences. She was saying what a wonderful person my grandmother was and how much she enjoyed taking care of her. Then she said told me about grandmother going to their workout facility everyday. She told the nurse that some days she didn't feel like going, but she knew if she went and exercised that it would make her feel much better. She had congestive heart failure that eventually took her life.

Those mornings when I get up all achy and stiff and just not feeling like working out. I think about my grandmother pushing her exercises for the day and think I can do this and it will make me feel better.
 
I understand. I'm 65 and many workout days (3X week) I really have to force myself to go but I am always glad I did because it gets me going and I feel so much better.
 
That's awesome that she's still keeping on top of her fitness, and staying healthy. :headbang:

Wow I hope I am as energetic at 75, Well I can try my best anyhow and look after my health and well being as best I can, to get there..Respect to your mother :)
 
That's awesome man! So that means you have ZERO excuses for not getting into the gym and training your ass off.
