To all the fighters on the board especially Ivan. Are any of yall fimiliar or know of a fighting school around the St. Louis area. Ive become real interested in the sport and really want to do it. Il be going back up to St.Louis towards the end of march, and i would like to start. So if anyone knows of any place, please reply.

I know of one

There was a team (if I remember right) outta that area ---check or do a search for " Grappling concepts...." <--- was the name of the academy in the St. Louis area...

I wish I could go to a school Ive had too many back problems i dont even squat DL or jog/run no way i can fight, i toronto school recuirter saw me online trying to build a club and offered to train me for free if i dedicated my time to thier school, an opurtunity I would have loved to take, it was shootfighting, i have no regrets tho I couldnt have done it no matter what.

Man that sucks, ive just watched alot of it lately and then i saw the Miletek (sorry if i misspelled) fighting school and it was showing how they teach you basically everything you need to know. Ive always been real competitive and dedicated and this likes it would put both to the extreme. Its a respectful artform and i want to do it bad.

bro - go post this question over at musclechemistry.com. Choke03 (one of the admins) will help you find something for sure, and there are several fighters (2 will be competing in reality fighting V in oct in atlantic city, and on ESPN ) who can help you find a school in the style you want!

Gainingmass you're spelling was close(Miletich) That is the school I train at most of the time! Pat and I grew up together since we were 10 and he is an awesome guy! His new school should be tops!
