finally over...got a car

WAY to long of a story.. but the gist is..

drove 3hrs to find "the deal"... and the $3000 cheaper car, while mechanically sound..was beat the hell up!!!, not sure if i could deal with it even tho
" we will buff out scratches and the dents will be gone" ect.. but i bet over 30 big rock chips on the hood...repaint for sure... and the inside STUNK LIKE HELL.. like a million of those cinnamon hearts...yuk..covering something up..

went to honda dealer, and that one was IMMACULATE!!, only the 4 cyl..so im giving up, the rims i want, dual exhaust appearance...BUT an 05 with 54000km..and full service records...tires rotated and everything.

now, if i didnt have a screaming kid and wife i would of tried and low ball for this one, since i knew he was going to give it to my friend at my honda dealer for $15800 (so he says..lol), so i was wanted to offer $14000 and work up, but even then i would have to drive back up and get it..this way i will pay $16800 from my guy, and it is 2mins away and i can go back on him if problems arise.. pay for convienence i guess..

so atleast having driving to toronto, i now know that I didnt miss out on a great deal, had I just had my friend bring in the car originally....

05 accord EXL 2.4L.. leather/heated.. wanted a 3.0L, but care less really
no dual exhaust (more potentional for $$ repairs anyway)

the accord are very nice she wanted one but she drive 3 hrs round trip to work and she is racking up the miles already . yea she want 18 's and ive found some that are really nice but they are exp . had to take the rear bumper off to install the clear taillights

fack, my friend just called me... the car fax is clean, but when he ran it it hada $1600 claim, but no info?? hes looking into it...$1600 could be a bumper or that spotless hood i was admiriing...lol, i thought i checked it for VIN tags??

the one thing i noticed with this one (4cyl), is at idle the steering wheel had a "slight" vibration feel to it...not sure if thats a biggy or not..

Phat, my brother-in-law is an excellant mechanic, I always take him when looking at vehicles. I would suggest you get someone also, could save you money.

My advice to anyone looking to buy a ride. Get the one with no payments!!! I'm paying $500/month for my truck and damn did the novelty wear off pretty quick. Sure, at the dealer they try convincing us we can afford it and its a good deal. Then reality sets in and ur paying on that fucker for 4 or 5 years!! I went out and then bought a $400, 1990 Nissan 240 SX. It's beat to piss with 300k on it, and runs like a champ!! I'll tell you what, Nissan makes a good fucking car. If I ever get a newer car it's going to be another Nissan. Wife has an 08 Civic, nice car as well, also $400/month. Fuck payments, never again. I'd take payoff for that truck anyday and drive the beat up Nissan if I did not need a truck so bad.

yeppers... payments suck.. due to timing i have to overextend myselft until summer and sell my stang....but such is life....

if i were EVER to do paments again.... i think $350-400 is ENOUGH..
i lived at home when i got the mustang, $600 month....your right....REAL FUCKING OLD, REAL FUCKIN QUICK! i remember being 2 yrs in, moving out into an apartment thinking...FACK.... 3YRS LEFT......YEARS!!~!

Nothin wrong with an accord. Reliable , nice looking and have some pep to them.

I really like the looks of the new 2 door coupe accord models though.

It's nice to pretend I have money and can buy a cool car... Then reality checks in and I get mad.

Ahhhhh it's posts like these that make me thank god I'm young, single and financially secure.

Good choice on the Honda however wrong model. Should've opted for something similar to mine lol.
