Fish vs Chicken

Most likely u see in BB diet more of the chicken breast than fish, but fish is actually a better choice, many might not like the flavor and only eat tuna can,but seriously if you dont eat enough fish or fish shells you're missing lot of benefits that you wont find in fish, while our chicken is full of hormones and in some cases they inject water and sodium in the meat, fish is not,if you eat 3 times a week fish you're eliminating serious diseases like cancer and cardiovascular, many fish are naturally rich in Omega oil a very ecential fatty acid that prevent memory lost, better blood circulation, and better funtion of our heart and brain according to many studies... So my point is,whats the benefit of eating so much chicken other than protein vs fish, and if you like fish go for wild version from cold water, and dont abuse from tuna in a can,is loaded with lot of mercury which is very toxic for our heart,
All said, what you prefer? in my case i eat wild Salmon once or twice a week depending of my budget and can tuna once a week,i eat shelfish twice a week like stone crab , lobster or Scallops and any other fish once a week like Tuna cooked Rear, mahi, trout or Snapper
Chicken once or twice a week,i cant stand it anymore vs so much variety of fish that i love... and you? what do you eat?
I know chicken will win cause is cheaper but think about all the goodies that comes with this great animal protein

personally

i cannot think of a single reason not to eat lean beef. given the choice between chiken and fish, i'll eat chicken and take fishoil.

Is the tuna in the new "fresh packs" better than regular cans? That is some good stuff!. I like tuna, but don't like salmon. I got a salmon steak the other day at the meat counter to try the fresh fish thing. I fried it up in olive oil, and whew, did it ever make my hole house smell like a bait shop! I can't stand the smell of fish! I love to eat it if the smell is gone, but I like to stick with prepackaged stuff if possible. I love me some crab legs too!!

Bro if u never had salmon before or cooked,Salmon should never be fried,of course your house smelled like that, salmon should be pan seared, never over cooked cause will enhance the fishy taste and smell, also with some Pam will be enough and you will see all the natural oil coming out of it,no need to fried something that is full of oil like salmon, also u can have it poached

The problem is trimmed, boneless chicken breast goes for $2.33/lb while any decent fish goes for $6+/lb. And I live just outside a large seaport.

a fishing rod and a bucket of worms on a free weekend might fix that dillema.

I do love fish (sushi). prepared as sushi i can eat the stuff all damm day. I love lobster, crab and crawfish. catfish is good too. try shark if u can find it. shirmp and mussles.

i eat sushi for lunch but not to often. and if i got out to eat with the girlfriend i would go with the lobster crab or tilapia. for dinner.

for dinner its always a steak. i love steak way too much to not have it for dinner.

And lean beef.

Both are staples to me...I go with the normal grilled chicken breasts and canned tuna...Im a college student so I got to watch the money, lol...

i know bro and i was the same. untill my ex took me there and begged me to have some. i tried it and i was hooked. and for others it just wont happen.

Its a must try. u can get a small order for like 3 bucks to try (6 rolls) depned on which u get. dont get the karshi. get the maki rolls. sub for brown rice instead. yellowtail, tuna, cali, alaskan, white fish rolls are great, some light soy sauce top with ginger its awsome. the more exotic rolls u should stay away from unless ur their to enduldge. things like mayo, and special sauces r used. for me its not a prob cuz i dont compete lol.

Chicken is easy, Just picked up 40lb. @ $56-

1- I don't know about injecting chicken with hormones, but if that's the case, hell, more for me.

2- to say that fish is the way to go since they don't inject them with hormones is like saying smoking regular marlboros is better than smoking lights because the regular isn't processed and cleaned out as much. Ask any old man about the inside of a fish 60 years ago and see what he says. the ocean is as polluted as shit... not that i give a damn... but i don't like when people are biased about a certain issue and try to hide other things to prove their point.

3- Yes, supplements are just as good as regular food. sometimes they're actually better, sometimes they're worse... depending on the company and what they actually put in it :p

4- eat whatever the hell you want... if you want "health", supplement with all the crap and diversify your food selections and only eat fresh foods. even if it's fresh, and your body DOES NOT LIKE IT, it's not gonna reflect positively on your health.

this is just my honest opinion... i'm not a doctor, i'm not even smart... but according to what doctors and (as those colorful emails you get about health say) "scientist" and "latest scientific research from the mayo clinic"... i'd be healthier than anyone on earth, reach 5% fat, have the memory of an elephant, the strength of a whale, and the agility of a ghazelle if i:
drink 2 cups of green tea
eat a banana
eat an apple
eat a cup of beans for my daily protein intake (because they are LOADED with protein)
get 80% of my calories from healthy carbs like grapes, whole wheat bread and jam
eat 3 containers of yoplait... cuz the research funded by yoplait said so
eat carrots
stay away from beef and chicken because they inject them with cancerous hormones (whatever the fuck that is)
eat 1 or 2 oz of fish per day because the fish i eat will magically put on a cape and fight cancer
do 5 minutes on the eliptic
not do resistance training cuz that will cause me to grow a vagina

... meh

gotta have those omega 3's..brain food!!!...addicted to those smoked kippers from walmart...

Yeah I buy it like that in large packs of 40 Chicken breasts then I spearate them into freezer bags and freeze in packs of 4, defrost night before, its easy and saves loads of money. A good buddy of mine who eats lots of eggs as a protein source rears his own chicken, he has 6 chickens and feeds them on seeds.

Chicken over fish for me but I also really like roast turkey breast
