Guys,

I highly recommend that you take a week off from the weights every 6 to 8 weeks. You gotta give your body a break every once in a while. It seems to be a tremendous help for me in continuing to make great gains. A little goes a long way in this game!
 
Well im sure alot of us are going to the O and there will be no exercising of any kind this weekend haha.... so its a good 4-5 days off for all of us. Back to the grind next week!
 
Good advice! Which I will implement this week. Seems I have been banging my head against a wall with my joint pains the last few weeks...and making no progress
 
It is always a good idea to take a week off from time to time, to make sure not to burn ones self out...........
 
so hard to do since most of us are addicted to lifting, two days I can do but man a whole week I hate. Question when you take off a week do you stop any gear as well for that week?

I keep the gear going. Just want to rest the body and CNS so my joints and nervous system can hit on all cylinders when I get back in there.
 
I like to take a week off every 4months.

I was in week 9 of a 14 week cycle and I took 5 solid days off to rest(not from gear). I'm so ready to go today. I feel refreshed and my body is saying thanks, now lets kick some ass!

i did the same (minus the gear). felt refreshed both physically and mentally!! :)
 
Well I am forced to take at least 3- 14 to 25 day's off each year due to my China business travel. It also helps my eating as my red meat and protein intake levels drop off extremely. Its a nice break actually.
But it is alway a battle getting back into the gym with the jet lag and all.
