Gear got snagged

I know of a couple guys in the Boston area that had their gear brought to their house by the state police and postal inspector. Has anyone else heard of the local law cracking down in their area, and should I hold of from ordering??

I have not heard that but I live in boston and I ordered from a board sponsor 2 post cards came but 1 has taken a long time and i was wondering WTF?? the last thing I need is the staties a my door step. I hate thoes pig bastards.I don't want to give anymore info but pm me if you want to talk.

Unfortunatly, I'm hearing more and more about these incidences on the boards. But, you didn't say what source they used, was it one of the good sources that we see on the major boards or was it from some fly by night organization.

There's no rhyme or reason to it. Some have suggested shipping to a small town increases the chances of a visit when compared to a metro area. The thinking being the metro areas are too busy to worry about gear...

To be safe, I'd keep the orders small. Big orders will increase the chances of a visit.

Very possible since it's back in the press lately. I get weary of international as the chances for things like this happening are greater. Also, it's best not to have it shipped to your home.
