When i look at GI lists of rice each one contains multiple rice entries. some rices seem to really vary in glucose response, appears alot of it has to do with how much you cook it. then i'll look an another list and its different.

Just wondering what the consensus is on which is the best Rice for cutting bodyfat. from what i've seen, Uncle Bens Convertred Rice has the lowest glycemic index?

If I remember correct, white rice had a lower GI than brown or longgrain rice.
Does that make sense? And stuff like frosted flakes had a lower index than cherrios. After I saw some of that I discounted the GI and pretty much just went with keeping sugar grams low, that works just fine for me.

..

nothing is wrong with eating items that spike ur slin as long as you understand how to place them withig ur diet

As far as I know, white rice has a very high GI and is close to pure sugar GI-wise.

I could be wrong, assuming we're both talking about the same white rice, but I think you are in this case :)
