You could easily check by cooking and eating 50g fresh cooked and check your blood glucose (right before , 10 min after , 30 min after and 60 min after) and log where that goes then do the same test with 2 day old rice and see what happens
Not the first time I've heard this. And yeah, I've always done big batches of food on a Sunday... Hardly anything I eat through the week is freshly prepared.
I ate the same batch of rice for days for many years with no ill effects and it was not in the frig at work, was out for hours. My last GF was born and grew up in Cambodia and Thailand and she said they never put there rice in the frig and just ate it all day long. She would say people don't refrigerate bread why do that with rice.

Oddly the day I cook my rice I eat out of the colander all day. Sometimes it’s 10 hours before I get it all weighed. Sometimes I fridges the colander and just eat out of it but many a time it’s set out 24 hours. My wife swear ls im insane but I lived in Japan for 3 years banging Jap chics and they do the same shit. Rice maker goes off on a alarm like we do our coffee machines in the AM and they eat out of it all day no worries and where I was winter was like 70F so it was humid and muggy as well as hot year round.
