I figured I might as well do an intro, and let me add that I was pumped to stumble across this site, sick indeed. Anyone remember the old Renegadebb'ing.com?? That was when I was last training hard until about a month ago.
Basically at about age 19 decided to try and compete, did a state show, diet was off and I sucked. Then decided I owed it to myself to actually do the diet properly and competed in a tested National show in the 23yrs and under division, (at age 20), where I won my division. I was actually pretty darn large at that age for a show, came in at 6'2" 218lbs with fully striated quads, I don't know the bf but prolly 5%ish. Shortly there after my BB'ing buddy died unexpectedly from recreational drugs/lifestyle/juice and it completely turned me off from the sport since I was eating/sleeping/breathing bb'ing 24/7. (long story but I wanted to do other things than eat and cook egg whites).
Recently I was getting the itch to get back into shape, since Ive only been lifting 1-2 times a week and my diet has sucked, so once I started reading all you guys' posts I was fired up and ready to move some iron. Now I'm 30, was about 254lbs a month ago, good muscle memory, good base, just slacking. After just a month of pounding it, I'm prolly a point or so less on bf and up to 270 and I just wanted to thank you all for your passion for this game, I've always loved it I just fell off the wagon and now I'm back in action, maybe a show will happen next year, we'll see...thanks again.
