I'm taking 500mg glucophage with my carb meals and so far its working nicely but i have read that glucophage indirectly prevents fat absorbtion and i was wondering if it is just keeping the fat you eat with the carbs from being deposited easly due to keeping insulin responce down or does it work under some other sort of mechinisim

I'm just wondering if taking the glucophage is preventing me from absorbing my esential fats from omega 3 caps and beef and eggs

I think you might be confusing it with another medication. Where did you read this?

I would like to see something in a real medical article, if you know what I'm saying.

I hear you loud and clear Shelby.
So far I'm happy with what its doing for me , I'm getting 300-350g carbs a day and not bloated at all but the pumps are great and endurance are good too , I guess it just controling my slin production is helping alot , normaly I'd be getting fat eating the cals I am with the carbs I am.

I was just concerned that I may not be getting all the good out of my fats due to it inhibiting absorbtion or somthing , but I guess what Big A is trying to say in the artical is that with the glucophage limiting natural slin output that the lack of slin would also limit the amount of fat the body can shuttle to storage

The whole "insulin stores fat" thing is very over-rated / misunderstood.

I agree , this winter I'm gonna try some slin on weight training days.

I think people get fat with it cause they use to much and over eat trying to "load" with it.

I think I have a pretty good plan on how to use some Humilin-R with AM training.

Thanks for your time Shelby

I was always under the impression that when insulin is high and fat is present it will store more easily as fat since slin is a shuttling agent. Thats just the bro myth i've heard for years and why I always avoided fat when slin was present.

Insulin shuttles glucose (sugar) into your fat cells once your muscle cells are full. That's why you would use this, or Glucorell R. It increases the uptake into the muscle cells so less is stored as fat.
