massive G or anyone that knows...

i just recently ditched my intraworkout shake due to the GH and insulin thread here... so im taking it immediately PWO....my maltodextrin is out so i got dextrose (maybe the last time....wow sweet!)

30-40gm protein
10gm BCAA
10gm creatine
100gm dextrose

when would a good time to test glucose readings to see if i spiked insulin??

the last two days i was late getting a meal in me after the shake, and at the 2hr mark i thought i was going to puke, hands were shaky and felt sweaty..

didnt get the damn meter to work for todays tremor session lol, but 10 mins after my eggwhite and oatmeal i was 93ng..and 2hrs later i was 75ng....which i have seen 4x now 1 hr before my meals

first u need to take ur insulin, THEN u take ur shake, ps u can add a bit more whey (if i were u...) and only later on u can take ur GH
 
I take it as you are not adding exogenous insulin, you are relying on your pancreas...If so, you need to see how quick your blood sugar levels drop, when they decrease quickly then it is a sign you have spiked your slin level and you are scavenging the glucose from your blood and storing it in your muscles etc...IMO, just watch how quick they start dropping, then you will know the insulin is releasing, maybe test each 15 minutes or so???

Are you hypoglycemic? Those numbers would indicate that you are and that yes, your insulin is really spiking. Typical numbers after eating should be around the 110 range. If you are down to around 75, that is too low. Going below the 70s is when you get the symptoms you describe, i.e., going to puke, shaky, and sweaty. You want to keep your level up to at least 90 or the body will release cortisol to release glucose stores from muscle tissue--which you definitely DON'T want. I'm hypoglycemic myself, so I've had to modify my diet a bit to keep from losing my hard-earned muscle.
