Hair Follicle Drug Test??

I am kind of worried. I have a hair test coming up for work. And I was wondering what they test for? And how far back does it test for?

My only worries are AAS and xanax of which i'm not prescribed. I heard they usually don't test for xanax. If They do test for either, is there a way to beat the test?

they test for narcotics dude, not AAS and prescription meds. only script med u dont want in ur system is adderall, u will test positive for meth.

I have to possibly disagree. I've been on probation twice. The second time was in a very small city and they did not do the drug testing themselves. I had to go to one of the places that is an office that does nothing but drug testing. I became very aquainted with one of the nurses. She said they can even tell the implied dosage of a prescription drug you are taking by the results of the test. She said they report people that their drug test results show they are taking more than a prescribed dose.

I think even a 5 panel tests for barbituates.

It depends where you work and what they are having you tested for. AAS use can be tested by blood, urine, and hair folicle. It's not commonly tested for at regular companies. More gov't and even some city jobs(such as police) are now being tested in some cities. However it isn't cheap and for the amount they spend on testing compared to the amount they actually ever catch is quite a difference. Google it and you can see all the articles about testing. Texas alone spent like $6 million in testing athletes in schools and had like 4 or 5 students actually test dirty.

I would stop the XANAX use. It may be detected. You could try a 'wash' sold by the companies who sale Synthetic urine and such. Do a google.

ya i only take the xanax once awhile to sleep. I looked it up and It says 10 panels tests for almost everything while a 5 panel doesn't. I also read that mainly only gov't agencies use 10 panel while regular companies use 5 panel. Thank god i'm not with any gov't agency. Does anyone have experience with hair follicle testing?

They will probably test for narcotics and perscription meds that are abused.exmp.oxycotin,opiate type pain killers.I started a new job two months ago and they tested for those type of drugs along with rec stuff.Pass Drug Test Is Guaranteed - How To Pass a Drug Test Information! If you are worried use this stuff.it works!!They will probably not test you for AAS.

Hair folical testing is much more acurate and they can detect stuff much older than a pee test.Sometimes even 6 months back.That would be for a heavy pot smoker.I have buddies and myself to vouch for the hair cleansing product in the previous post i made..worth every penny.

Segmented hair test will show how much of a substance you have taken over a course of 4-6 months and approximately when. AAS are not included.

I know Sports Authority test all their employees with hair test. Even just their cashiers. I several persons who worked there and had to go for one. I thought it was kind of funny.

haha i'm no ceo. I am being promoted and to a different division so I have to fill out shit load of paperwork including medical history including a background check for some fucking reason. I did seek help for substance abuse over 5 yrs ago for opiates, I have to answer a question rather or not I have seeked help/counseling for drugs/acohol. Would it be wise to say no? As if they can actually pull up your entire medical history and pin point the incident? (I think this might be a problem also) Or should I just man up and tell the truth that I sought help and hope it doesn't disqualify me?

Lol oh damn thats it six months? For some stupid reason i was thinking YEARS back for hair testing. Phew not that worried at all now i stopped all stupid use of illegal things awhile back for just for rec purposes...

Drug testing is an invasion of privacy and should not be allowed by employers. Its none of their business what you use. It should be based strictly on performance. We are soooooo NOT a free country.

if you really feel that it will keep you from getting promoted i would not answer that you have had a drug dependence issue in past...i dont think an employer can pull that kind of info..there isnt a db i know of like the one at govt agencies that they will pull background check from...almost all reputable companies do the background checks now which consist of criminal and credit histories.

i agree as a person but if i had a company and wanted to hire you, i think i would really like to know who had a drug problem considering statistically some of the certain abusers are likely to steal, be late , not show up etc etc...it cant be based on performance cause they didnt hire ya yet!
