So I was going to reply to the two hair loss threads I was linked with oral minoxidil and finasteride and instead of posting in two different threads correcting misinformation and seeing guys desperately trying to regrow their hair and instead of linking my old article which is outdated I decided to just re write a whole new article that I haven't even posted yet anywhere. So those wanting to actually properly regrow their hair without using crappy drugs with side effects and get better results then finasteride and minoxidil which all of my guys who used both report insanely better results and the pictures are proof which I will attach below.
Ignore any writing mistakes as I just wrote this right now and had chatgpt look for any errors but told it not to change the wording as I will have to go over it later. I also left half of the old article at the end.
Also adding please do not pm me guys all the info is here below. Post in the thread please only.
The main factor in balding is poor circulation. Poor circulation is what causes local hormones in the scalp that cause hair loss to be altered. In this case, DHT is raised and estrogen is lowered. Poor circulation causes hypoxia in the tissues due to poor blood flow and then low oxygen levels. Low oxygen levels raise 5-AR, increasing DHT and lowering the aromatase enzyme, which lowers estrogen.
It is proven that all balding men have hypoxia in the scalp and poor circulation compared to non-balding men. Serum hormones essentially do not matter here, and why at best most get a slight halting effect from blocking almost all of their serum DHT is because it is the locally raised DHT that is causing the hair loss. And yes, we produce hormones locally in different tissues.
This is also the main reason minoxidil works by increasing circulation where applied.
So again, it is a proven fact ALL balding men have poor circulation at the scalp, immensely worse compared to controls. It is a proven fact that balding men have raised local DHT levels and not serum. And it is a proven fact that poor circulation/hypoxia seen in balding men causes the DHT to raise locally and estrogen to be lowered.
This explanation also explains why not everyone gets male pattern balding, and not everyone gets male pattern balding from anabolic steroid use. The men with poor circulation to the scalp and hypoxia from it are creating more androgens locally and are more sensitive to androgens locally at those receptor sites.
How many times have you read that balding men are just more sensitive to androgens/DHT than non-balding men was the explanation? Well, this is true, but nobody ever wondered why they are more sensitive. And the scientific explanation is that they are more sensitive due to hypoxia creating more androgens locally and also increasing sensitivity via the production of more androgens, as we know androgens do such.
Further evidence scientifically to this notion is that why is only the top region of the scalp affected in male pattern balding, and why is it a pattern? Well, this was also covered in research when researchers stretched a material over a human skull and showed that there was only tension in the male pattern balding area and not anywhere else on the head. And the most tension was in the areas where men start balding first, the crown and the typical widow's peak, followed by the area connecting the widow's peak to the back and then the center of the skull. The exact fashion a male goes bald.
This further proves the connection between circulation with the sites most prone to tension, cutting off blood flow, seeing worse balding, and then all areas experiencing tension, seeing loss of hair via the tension worsening circulation to those areas, increasing DHT and androgen sensitivity. All while the rest of the human head hair remains untouched due to adequate circulation.
It is also no different than a diabetic who sees hair loss in areas all over the body where circulation gets bad due to diabetes, such as their legs. Where there is poor circulation, hair loss follows due to local hormone alteration. And again, why finasteride doesn't reverse balding in the majority of users and only halts it at best for a few years and then progresses. And why minoxidil works so well at increasing hair growth via increasing circulation and altering local hormones.
**The fix for poor circulation and then hair loss: lifestyle and diet**
To properly fix hair loss and why I have so many great success stories/before and after photos is because I have people fix circulation, actually fixing the root cause. Fixing the root cause of poor circulation requires you to know what is causing the poor circulation in the first place. To summarize, what is causing most people's poor circulation is essentially lifestyle. This includes diet, movement (or lack thereof), posture, and any possible lifestyle habits they might be doing that impair circulation, such as smoking.
For the most part, most people's issues are diet and posture, with sometimes lack of movement. In the fitness community, generally, lack of movement isn't a big factor, of course.
Starting with diet, most people, including those in the fitness community, have an absolutely horrible diet. They think they are eating healthy, but they really have no idea what healthy eating is. Example: chicken and rice is healthy to them.
The issue with above such diets is the body needs adequate nutrients of well... every nutrient for proper circulation and blood flow. Proper movement of blood via the heart and arteries and proper viscosity of the blood to flow smoothly. One such big nutrient issue is vitamin E in most people's diets. Most do not get anywhere near enough vitamin E and then they deplete it further with food items such as "healthy oils" in their diet, including one such example, fish oils.
Every single gram of a macronutrient that we eat—protein, carbs, and fats—requires very specific amounts of micronutrients to utilize said macronutrient. And when we eat a macronutrient in a processed food form, such as fish oil vs eating the whole fish with all its nutrients, that processed oil, the polyunsaturated fatty acid in the fish oil, will utilize your body's current stores of vitamin E to utilize the PUFA in the fish oil. Then creating a vitamin E deficiency proven in studies.
The importance of vitamin E is that it is the body's natural aspirin, essentially. It "thins" the blood, keeps things moving, and keeps clotting in balance so it flows smoothly, and hence, how it is proven to improve circulation.
So now you see the importance of just one single nutrient out of dozens in circulation and how and why a typical person's "healthy" diet even would worsen the nutrient status of this one nutrient. Now think about all the other nutrients you are lacking and/or depleting. Which, by the way, I wrote on this before: studies also show that from sedentary people, amateur athletes, and professional athletes, 100 percent of them did not meet even 50 percent of over 50 percent of the micronutrient RDA amounts. And in my experience, I've found this to be 100 percent true whenever I work with someone and look over their current diets.
