Hair Testing/UFC?

So my buddy who fights wants to know if they do hair testing? I asked what leauge he's in,etc.. cuz I know nothing about that stuff and he said UFC. He has fought in i believe Ireland or Thailand in the past. He said the comps are not that strong but a few were called "affliction" "Showtime elite xc" So anyone know if hair testing is a possiblity? Thank

unfortunately that does not work...depending on the hair test...I'll ask my buddy who fight in the UFC, I know they piss test you and blood test...hair I really dont think so...I have fought in other venues (just not UFC) and I never had anything more than blood work and a piss test. The cost to do a hair analysis is pretty steep, maybe for a title fight.

its not the Org that tests it's the Athletic Commission that does.

I'm 99% sure that state athletic commission do not do hair folicle tests only random piss test of fights and ALL championship fights.

Your right...I forgot to mention I fought pro in new hampshire, mass, and jersey...there they do not do hair follical tests...
