Hammer Strength Question

I have maxed out on the Hammer Strength Incline Press Machine can easily do 4 sets of 12 with 5 plates per side. Not bragging but is there anyway to add more weights? DO they make extenders, or can I put weights around the handles????

I would think weights around the handles (as long as its OK with the gym owner) would work.

Its a hardcore type of gym so that might work,

inhuman

over at intensemuscle made some extensions for the hammer incline that he was able to put on 8-10 plates, cant remember which. he'd be a good guy to ask about it

Our HS incline holds more plates than I can do... I wonder if it's the model?

And yes... I agree... hits 'em hard and easy on the shoulders.

You know what a baby I am when it comes to my little shoulders...

I wish their was a better way to spot on HS machine. I like it too but I reach failure at a wierd spot and its always so hard to have a training parter spot and give me more forced reps.

Hammer strengths are the BEST. I feel them in my chest soooo much better than freeweights (although DBs are great also) Luckily the ones at my gym hold 7 plates, i was up to 6 plates for 7 reps, cant wait to max it out pretty impressive lol.

try prefatiguing the muscle with incline DB or BARBELL... or if you have that machine maxed out, move on and then come back to it in a few months...

If you maxed out the plate machine. Get some chains and hooks and chain a dumbell. Your dumbells should go at least to 150. So that can give you some more progress. In-human made the hammer strength to hold about 12 plates instead of 5 lol that animal...
