hello I write from Italy, I have been following this forum for two years, has any of you done a DNA test for diseases? Anyone expert on polygenic risk? How do you manage your risks? In Italy these tests are still not well known by doctors.
I had a run in with cancer a few years back, I did a genetic mutation test about two years ago. Showed I have the MUTYH gene and am predisposed to Parkinsons. I can't imagine not taking advantage of these resources if they are available to you.
I do an annual full body MRI with a company called Ezra in the states and a few other preventative measures.
I see now this resonance, interesting. my DNA test brings me some polygenic risk for cancer. I have read for some cancers such as prostate and breast they are very reliable, for others the elements are few and conflicting. I will get used to this resonance.
