I FUCKING HATE CAR DEALERS!!!!

my god is there anything worse than dealing with salesman and financing guys. im about to say fuck it and forget about getting a jeep. you would think for the jeep and 7k worth of extra shit im getting on it, they would be trying a little harder to close the deal, it seems like im the one doing all the work here!!

they told me the jeep was X amount of dollars, then they said i had to finance a 1000 dollars more cause of the better financing, which they didnt tell me upfront that you had to choose 1 or the other. its taken 3 days so far, for them to try and get this shit right, now im trying a credit union so i can get the 1000 off. woudlnt you think they would offer the 1000 dollars and good financing so atleast they could make some money off the 3.9% financing. its like they are pushing your business away!!!

Jeep Grand Cherokee? I have a limited...I hate the damn thing. Great car, drives nice, it's fast, comfortable. I have never had so many dumb little things go wrong with a car ever! Just an FYI. These cars are hit or miss. The damn 10 disc cd changer broke! What kind of cd player breaks...LOL Of course this all goes wrong after 36K too. I think they're warranties are up to 70K now though, so maybe you'll be ok.

For the money, I'd get an Infiniti FX

no its a 04 wrangler sport, but im having the dealer install a 4.5" teraflex suspension lift, 1"body lift, 35X12.50 bfg mud terraina, and weld wheels, so it going to be quite a bit more expensive than a regular jeep, plus 1700$ in labor for all that. they are making a lot off the deal i know so you would think they would give a rats ass.

but i hope i dont have the same problems as you have had, my friend has the cherokee limited, man its nice talk about luxury, hes got the heated seats, auto wipers, AWD, smooth ride, and thebig V8. that sucks you are having problems with yours though, good luck. i reccomend putting a tank top on and go up there complaining. lol

trust me, they know who I am...lol Like I said, it's a great car, I have the heated leather, 10 disc changer, V8, running boards, all that...but the little bullshit drives me nuts. I doubt you'll have that problm with a Wrangler, they're robust vehicles.

Why not have a offroad store put it on for you? They wont charge you near the amount that the dealership will and the labor costs wont be as much. And im not sure about Teraflex, but i know skyjacker, BDS suspension, and Superlift are all good suspension lifts that arent that bad of a price. And as far as lift kits those are pretty cheap. Well, just a suggestion and could possibly save you some money.

By having dealer install lift etc, you can still retain factory warranty. T
hat would be the only reason I would have them do it on a new vehicle. Other than that I would install it all myself. I bought my jeep nowing nothing mechanical. Now two years later have put 5" lift in, replaced clutch, SYE, various other tasks, now about to do diffs and lockers. Figure the cost in tools is about half that of labor, and I get to keep the tools.
