Could anyone try to explain these in a little more detail please? I have looked around the net for an explanation andI just cannot feel my bi's being stretched out when I do them! Any help would be great...

Using the Smythe Machine with the bar at shoulder height, reaching back behind you grab the bar with palms facing down to the ground, arms straight, then squat down as low as you can go and try to hold for 60 seconds, the pain is awsome...
I found the stretch recommended hurt my elbows.
I now use a incline bench and holds some 35lb dumbells in the start position of an incline curl.
The get my partner to pull my arms back/up slightly.
