i am 20 weeks out and started my diet today. currently 6ft. 267lbs, 12%bf.
i have struggled with the weight gain this year. lugging it around has been difficult, but this morning i had a pretty bad nose bleed so i went and got a blood pressure machine from walgreens. it has been running about 160 over 90.
curently running 150mg test prop eod, 40mg anavar ed, 4iu's growth ed and 12.5mcg t3. diet is high protein, high fat, very low carbs only from veggies. my question is could the little amount og gear be causing this, the extra weight, diet or all of it. should i see a doctor?

What's your sodium intake like and water retention??
But yes the gear is most likely the cause of your bp. it is higher than it should be but try adjusting your diet and drink more water. ususally high fat diets can be high in sodium also. Just be careful with salt! But your bp is not over the top. just keep an eye on things. maybe adjust cardio also.

another thing to keep in mind is those standard blood pressure cuffs are too small for anyone with a decent sized arm. I think they only fit up to 16 inches or so, not sure on the number. I use a large cuff. If you use a cuff that is too small it will give you readings that are higher than your actual blood pressure.

Actually, the ORMON brand BP cuff I have recommends that you use a large cuff with a larger than 13 inches, cold, "non-flexed". You sound like a big guy. Probably need the large cuf.

man you were right on. yesterday i was so bloated i could not put my watch on, so i drank 2 gallons water and restricted my sodium. i woke up this morning at 262 lbs and my blood pressure was 139 over 85. yeah when i tried to check it at walgreens my arm would not fit in the little ass cuff so i bought one with a large cuff. i could tell it was gonna be better when i got up this morning because i was not laboring so much to move around. thanks.

If you have a cool doc, Altace will solve the issue. I prefer an ACE inhibitor over diuretics, there's just something about accidentally getting dehydrated and training heavy - i.e. tearing something, that I just don't want to risk. I have taken Altace (also took Zestril successfully) for years, and have not once had a blood pressure reading out of normal range, and never one side effect. It is one of the safest drugs out there.

AI's lower my BP (ARIMIDEX,LETROZOLE)

Ask your doc about BP meds. I am on several and no matter how much Test and GH I take my BP stays VERY low.......and I don't have to worry about stroke level BP!

I take Benicar, another ACE inhibitor, and it has done the same thing for me. Keeps bp down even when on and no sides at all.

Those were all some good points! You should definitely invest in a good cuff and it's wise to get a large one! I use a thigh cuff which is what most physicians will use on patients with large arms! Small cuffs almost always register a false high reading.

You should still monitor your BP daily and even several times as a day. I find that when I'm "on" my BP fluctuates throughout my cycle and it's wise to keep it under control by first adding an AI to counter estrogen and if that doesn't quite do it, get on some BP meds for the duration!

I cannot tell you how many guys I've checked randomly throughout the years and discovered that they were walking around with acute Hypertension! For some, it was SO elevated that they ended up admitting themselves to the nearest ER! Point is, it doesn't ever have to get to that stage IF you simply check it and check it often!

HBP is not something you can feel and IF you ever DO "feel it" (as in the case of nose-bleeds or intermittent tachycardia) it's because it has had a chance to manifest itself into a serious cardiovascular threat!
