High fat/low carb vs High Carb/low fat for Natural.

What do you think is best for a natural trainee? Not using AAS.

One personal trainer highly regard said that if you dont use AAS.

High Fat is where its at.

Im currently on High Fat/low carb diet. Feel good, Balls are big. Feel manly.

I just dont know if high carb/low fat is better?

High Fat/low carb
-Whole eggs
-Full fat beef
-Whole milk 3.25%

Low fat/high carb
-Eggwhite
-Chicken breast
-Skim milk

The trainer said to have and edge over AAS user, you must eat High Fat as a natural trainee. Otherwise if your natural with High Carb/low fat your going to feel like shit...

What do you guys think?

Sounds like your trainer is providing you with an opinion and not a hypothesis that's rooted with any facts.

My personal opinion, I can shred on a 'keto' diet (high fat/low carb) super quick. That said, sustained exercise for me is extremely inhibited without the carbs.

Guess it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

For me (I'm 52) and have done different types of training since I was a teen, I prefer Higher Fat/Protein and very very low carbs. I get indigestion and bloated from carbs..

High Fat/low carb

I think that intake of fats is better than carbohydrates. Only if you are not ectomorph.
So it's my choice (high fat/low carb).
And I'm not using AAS

Im natty and I agree with your trainer, but occasionally, especially after a period of cut, I like to have high carbohydrates before and after training, and not be in ketosis.
