This just temporary or actual and legitimate fat?

Taking my week off from dieting/training, etc. and I'm definitely more bloated, gassy, etc. I'm sure I weigh more.

This permanent(been a few days, a week tops)? Or is this just temporary water weight that'll taper off once I start dieting again on Monday?
 
Well, it is certainly mostly water. I think it would be a little delusional to think it's 100% water pounds, though. If it were this hard to put on fat, everyone would be walking around with ripped abs.

I believe that you can put on fat quickly. I can lose fat in one day, especially if I am in a severe caloric deficit, so why would I not be able to gain fat in a day if I binge?

That's probably the last thing you want to hear though. If you're not carrying a lot of muscle on your frame, you can't go nuts with food. Your metabolism can't handle it. Take it from me.

I doubt you did any damage that can't be fixed with a few days of normal calorie levels + activity.

I have found that increasing activity levels speeds up the whole process a LOT! If I binge and spill over, a super intense leg work out and cardio work out and one day of low calories and I'm back to square one in the mirror it seems.

So don't just sit around feeling depressed because you had a chocolate bar. Go run.

probably some water and some fat. Just get back on track and don't sweat it.
