How long do you guys think a bottle of homebrew is good for if stored correctly? a year, two, three?

Brewed correctly and similarly stored correctly you should have no problem using it in any of the time frames you've given.

Again to answer your question, if it's stored properly it will be fine.

Several years. If it falls out of solution because of temperature changes over time, just reheat it. But you're good for 3-4 years, easily. It's suspended in alcohol.
