Prehypertension= 120-139/80-99

Stage 1: 145-159/90-99

Stage 2: >160 systolic OR >100 diastolic

Once again, over here 130/90 would already be considered hypertension, you guys should really get your bp sorted out because it's not normal you all fall in or above that range

Systolic 120-139 Diastolic 80-99

Interventional cardiologists are now very agressive with making sure their patients (with hypertension) are below 120/80. Again these are people with risk factors and or a strong family history of heart disease. Your medical history as well as your familys medical history is very important.
