If it's working for you, then stick with it. However you will know when to change it when you have stop making gains off of it or you've hit a platteau.
 
it stopped working. how do you know what changes to make?

First of all what was the purpose of the diet? Bulk? Cut?
 
I stagger my protein and carb intake day by day. I always keep my protein levels high anyway, but some days just not quite so high. On non-training days I crank my protein levels up, take extra glutamine, and sleep a lot extra (yeah, yeah I know sleep isn't food) to help with recovery.
 
studhammer, post some stats up. and what your daily cals look like, also your carb, protein, fat % breakdown daily if you kow it.
 
I do 4 low carb/high protein days, 2 medium carb/medium protein, and 1 high carb/high protein day (this day is kinda a cheat day)
 
A good diet shouldn't be changed, but diversified to maximum, in order to generate a good appetite.

I posted the diet I do. I like to run lean. But, I must have gotten used to it. As it seems I don't get the results I used to. Just maintaining what I have
 
what would happen if I cut carbs on non training days?
 
I would have strawberyes instead of the double portion of banana, because it has a large amount of sugars. I would also cut the 5o'clock potato and replace it with veggies. What about the morning cardio , are you doing any?
 
zero cardio. I might do 1/2 hour after a workout once in a while

not enough fat in your diet, i see fat in your last meal and thats it. add some almonds, udo's oil, olive oil, natural peanut butter, walnuts, macodamian nuts or cashews to each meal.
 
are there better fats to use at different times of the day?
 
Add 1 tblsp flax oil to your protein drink. twice a day is good. great stuff and underated in the BBing world. Very healthy source of rich omega's. Better than fish.

yes you can do this but flax will generally be used as energy by the body, but anytime is ok.
