how to trust women again?

Here's the situation. I met this very funny girl, she's smart, very beautiful girl, and we clicked right after we met. I really like hanging around her and she's nothing like the other sl*ts I have dated lol. My problem is, after the last few sinking ships as Ouch calls them, I now have a very hard time trusting women.

She hasn't done anything to make me think she's fuckin everyone and their daddy, in fact, we haven't done anything sexual and it's been a few weeks since we've known each other...(which is weird for me lol) She actually has a lot of respect for herself and she said that she wants to make sure that I'm not just out for a piece of ass and I respect her for that.

Even if nothing progresses with her, I just wonder if I'll ever be able to actually trust another woman again... Like I said though, she hasn't given me any reason to think she's like the women in my past... I guess this is just my own issues I have to get straight.

Btw, she waxed my back and wow, its incredible, I no longer look like an ape lol

Yes, like SR said... enjoy the journey. Take the time to really get to know her. If she is not like the others, maybe she's not? Trust your gut. We have all been used, betrayed, lied to at some point in our lives. We recover and move on. Don't be afraid to trust again or you will end up bitter and alone.

thanks Sig and Brick for the input. I am taking my time with her, just talking about women in general. Either way, I have come to a lot of realizations about my life the last few months and how I want it to proceed, so with that said, I have no desire to go out and dog women again or anything of the affect. She's not the first woman I have dated since the nut in my life, but she is the first that I have gotten along with so well. Either way, we'll see what happens as time goes on and yes it is great not being so hairy anymore lol.

Like you said, the issue has nothing to do with her and everything to do with you. No matter what she does or doesn't do; you will never fully trust her until you find a way to get over your past. Obviously you have been hurt in the past and your scars are going to effect every relationship you have from this point forward. You may want to look into some sort of cognitive therapy as I would be willing to bet that your lack of trust is based on distorted and irrational thoughts/beliefs. Once you are able to identify what these thoughts are you can then challenge them and move forward(not quite as simple as I made it sound). Ouch may be able to elaborate on this or have better/alternative suggestions.
