Injectable choline, Inositol, and Methionine for fat loss

..i would be cautious of taking any additional METHIONINE
..especially if you consume meat: BEEF TURKEY PORK even TUNA (..which is loaded with it)

If you want to lower homocysteine levels there are many supplements that can help such as b-vitamins (especially folate), taurine, creatine and betaine. The original poster in this thread asked about the combination of injectable choline, inositol and methionine. Whilst the later has been shown to significantly increase homocysteine levels the other 2 ingredients have been shown to both lower it so overall things don't look too bad. Now I am not recommending the original combo but I wouldn't be scared of methionine when having other supps in place to cancel out it's effect on homocysteine.

It's also worth noting metformin (extremely popular on here) also increases homocysteine levels but again you can still use it you just have to be aware of what it does and why it does it. Metformin lowers levels of vitamin b12 which indirectly can increase homocysteine over time so if you supplement with it whilst using it you shouldn't have any issues.

I see people posting on here from time to time how you should never use x because it will lower/increase y but they often use other supplements that do the exact same thing. This is why it's important to try to understand the details of everything you take and one reason why taking a massive list of supps is usually never the best approach especially if you don't understand all the interactions of each.

 
does oral work just as well/ injecting?

For the OP's supp or synthetine? Oral would still work for the OP's combo and I know many who use that combo or similar. Now for synthetine it needs to be injected. Oral l-carnitine and inj l-carnitine are 2 very different things imo.
 
what about L- carnitine? I just ordered a bunch of it. Does that help with fat loss?
Yes..... indirectly. L-carn will uncouple and release fat cells into your blood stream but you still need to exercise and burn calories in order for your body to use them as an energy source otherwise they could just be deposited elsewhere.
