I was curious if anyone would know if I had a tear in one of my rotator cuff muscles. I know I am going to get checked out by the DOC, but I was curious if anyone has had a major tear or minor tear in one of the four muscles? I know I injured it while benching. The pain was stabbing at first then I could not lift my hand to my ear. It has been a while and I cannot go heavy on flat bench, but the incline seems to do ok...but I still cannot go too heavy.

The reason I don't think I tore something is for the fact that there is no constant pain. Only during pressing movements...

Anyone have experience with this?
I have been going easy for the past 2 months...things are a bit better and I know I need to give it sometime.
Thanks,

Steak Helmet

Impossible to tell just from symptoms. You will need an MRI to know for sure what is going on but in todays health care game, the insurance company will make you go through physical therapy before they foot the bill for the MRI.
