I'm a natty, minus having recently tried some prohormones in combination with insulin (just because they were legal and cheap), so take it easy on this newb:
1. Insulin lowers blood glucose.
2. Low blood glucose stimulates the release of human growth hormone.
3. The simultaneous presence of insulin and HGH increases the rate at which IGF-1 is secreted/created.
Doesn't this mean that taking enough insulin to lower your BG to below normal (say, the 55-65 range) could trigger the release of HGH and IGF-1, and thus create an "anabolic cocktail" all on it's own?
In another thread, fellow boardmember "DatBTrue" points out that 5-6ius of insulin is ideal for maximizing the anabolic effects of HGH and IGF-1. So could someone take 6ius of insulin with protein and little/no carbs and create their own anabolic cocktail?
Just thinking out loud here. Obviously, if anyone were to do this, they should have a glucometer, an "insulin buddy," and a sugary drink on hand.
