insulin question
i was thinking about throwing some insulin into my next cycle, no GH this time around though, hopefully next time.

anyways i was planning on using humulin-r, that peaks at 30 mins and 1 1/2 to 2 hours correct?
if i could get humalog do you think that would be better?

my plan was just using it after i lift, and taking it with a carb drink, with proetin,creatine,glutamine, and about 50 carbs. then going home and eating dinner.

do you think it would be beneficial to just use once a day, my schedule dosent really allow for insulin shots throughout the day unfortunetly.

Here is my .02...
I have experimented with insulin for a while now and I find for me if I pop 15iu right after I get done training drink a carb drink and then eat 150grams of carbs and then 150 grams of carbs 2 hours later the insulin reaction blows me up like a balloon. I do gain a little fat on insulin becuase of all the calories I consume but I keep it under control by using 50mcg/d of cytomel and Xenadrine 2x a day. I am on cycle of 1000mg of test/ 500mg of EQ/ 25mg of D-bol/d and 15iu insulin/d and I have gained 30lbs and I am only 4 weeks into my cycle.

I know a buddy of mine pops insliun 2x a day. 10 iu's in the morning and 20 iu's right after training and he is huge a house.
As for you bro, you have to ake in account a couple of things. How fast is your metabolism? Have you done slin before? what does your cycle look like? How many carbs/ caloroies do you take in everyday?

If I were you I would start small and take 5ius right after you train, if you feel that doesn't work try 10ius and keep building. In my opinon you shouldn't have to go over 20 iu's.

Also remember the rule of thumb is 10g of carbs for every IU of insulin so make sure if you do 10is or whatever you decide multiply that by 10 and you need to eat that many carbs or otherwise the serious side effects, like shaking, nervousness, sweating etc could set in. Anyway start small and work your way up and you should be okay.

Use humalin-R by Lilly. You can get it at wal-mart for like $25.00. No prescription, but I am sure you already know that.

btw, my cycle is pretty damn close to yours
im doing 800mg test, 400 EQ, and 35mg dbol. i said before i wasnt gonna throw in GH, but if everything goes as planned i might be getting some. keeping my fingers crossed on that.

hvywghts right you need to experiment.

If you can get Humalog, it's the best and most convenient because you can dose and eat, it hits you almost immediately. Humalog is also gone quickly reducing the risk of hypoglycemia. Once you try Humalog you'll never want to go back to Humulin R. Humalog is what they use in insulin pumps. These kids even eat 1st then bolus, Humalog hits so quick.

If u just want to take insulin 1x/day take advantage of your anabolic window and do it immediatly after working out.

What I do is do weights, take a dose of insulin at the bike then bike till I feel "hypo", I have gluco-tabs right with me, take a few, go to the locker room and have my whey and cheat snack, usually a bag of sour patch kids.

your muscle has priority after working out so the carbs will go there 1st, b4 your fat cells.

gluco-tabs (at wal-mart) don't have to go to your liver 1st, so you can do cardio up untill you feel low and not have to worry.

I take all my shots IM even the humalog. You have to experiment with dosing and carb levels to determine how much carbs you need to consume with the slin...it varies from person to person because every has diff insulin sensitivity. One thing i will tell you....for 3-4hrs after your shot AVOID ALL FAT. Im currently cutting using slin and i have determined that when i shoot 7-8iu 20min before my w/o is done i can get by with 50gm whey and only 30-40gm dextrose.

When bulking i like to shoot insulin throughout the day as to take advantage of its effects on test binding globulin to un-bind more test from this carrier. I wake up shoot 10iu have breakfast with nearly no fat. Then shoot about 15-20iu 20min before w/o is done. Then another 4iu later in day. My daily fat intake is VERY low when i do this.

Eat GOBS AND GOBS of protein...egg whites, whey, fat-free cottage cheese, skim milk...etc..
