So i believe ive got some insulin resistance going on. Been on Green tops for 1wk @ 4iu ed(2iu am,2iu pm). This morning my blood glucose was 100 after my morning workout and a protein shake. After lunch it was 119 and 228 after dinner. The 228 is bothering me cause i like my vision and feet. Tonight was my daughters 1st bday so i had a couple slices of pizza and 2 cokes(come on i had to, it was her 1st bday). I know that the junk food is the culprit but i dont think it should be that high. So besides staying away from simple sugars what should i do? O and gonna go back to 2iu for a wk or 2. Would taking LR3 bring my levels down? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive been doing lots of research and have a good grasp on diabetes type 1 and 2 but it seems there is a lot of research that seems to have Hyper and Hypo mixed up or maybe im just mixed up. anyways thanx in advance for any help.
