Is deadlift necessary for developing physique?

Deadlifts are not necessary to build a great physique but they sure make the journey a whole lot faster and easier.

Did his statement include rack deads? Dante has posted that DH has done rack deads, and at a pretty high height relative to him.

From watching the video he said he didnt do them and didnt like them. THis was during a workout with his friend Scott who owns that holistic spa and gym Elojiah or something correct me if Im worng, but it didnt include the topic of rack deads. I was under the impression he doesnt do them but he didnt make it clear either.

Sure hes done deads, but he never went to state racks or regular deads were a part of his normal back workouts.
