For those not watching sodium intake too harshly. If you are, use Ms Dash instead of salt.
1 lb lean ground turkey
1 ½ tsp salt
3 ½ tsp paprika
2/3 tsp garlic granules or garlic powder
1/3 tsp fennel seeds (ground them up in a coffee grinder or similar)
1 tsp ground black pepper
¼ tsp crushed red pepper
Mix above together in a bowel.
If you want more hot spice, increase the fennel seeds and red pepper a tiny bit. A little goes a long way.
Cook in pan until brown. Drain excess grease to reduce more fat.
*Add bell peppers, mushrooms, onions when half cooked to make a sausage and peppers*
