Ya gotta have a team that ALL have the same training perspective as you, and then you have to committ yourself to this lifestyle....DEDICATION.
Sample W/O in a day:
8am --- run 4 miles
Eat after running. (noonish)
2pm --- weight train
3pm -- eat
Run errands for the day
4:30pm --- kickboxing/bag work/boxing
6pm --- eat
8-10pm -- Grappling
THat was a usual day. sometimes it changed etc... Do this type of routine 5 days a week for a month and it will become easy, then you make it harder. You will be a machine and look at everyone else as though they are pathetic in regards to what physical condition you are in . You feel like you are fuckin' superman. Just leave the ego at home and in the ring/cage.
thanks

I think MMA is impressive as hell. I love to watch it and go to competitions every now and then. Here in Holland it´s very big. I train BJJ with Remco Pardoel since about 7 years, but have been too concentrated on bodybuilding to compete in that too.
Keep us posted on your fights bro!
after wrestling practice for 3 hrs of basically cardio and throwing someone your own boywieght around ,sprints and dehydration we had what was calle the - - - - - mile ,the blanks was my coaches name. the team would have to run a mile in 5 min or less after this 3 hrs. Every person who did not make it that would equal 1 sprint for the team after the mile, at least half the team would never make the 5 min.
he always use to say if you could make it through his practices and joined the military boot camp would be a walk in the park.
