Just a friendly reminder for the weekend

This weekend is a big favorite for most people , it starts off the summer season of partying and such. The weather is warm it s athree day weekend just all around great times to be had.

But its also a very dangerous weekend , alot of drinking and driving , playing wrecklessly on outdoor toys , jetskies , ATV's , boats , whatever.

lets all slow down a second and think a little more , try to have everybody back here happy and healthy on Tuesday.

and above all lets all try to remember why we have the three day weekend anyway , take a second to think abount and honor our military people , im sure at some point we all know sombody who is or will be in harms way deffending out freedom.

The part where you talk about the military is what we need to focus on. This is about why we are free to do what we get to enjoy.

I have a friend in Houston that is very conscious about military personal. He always stops what he is doing if he sees a person in military clothes and goes up to them, shakes their hand and says THANK YOU FOR WHAT U DO. He always buys military people drinks in bars, resutrants and will even buy their dinner. That is what we are suppose to do for the people that protect us every day.

Good post GS, to honor our vets my car club will be doing a car show and barbeque for vets who are in a shelter. We will be bringing them much needed supplies and we will cook for them and have them judge our cars. We do this every year to give back to our Vets. I highly recommend that everyone do something more then just saying thanks.

Sad the last Pearl Harbor medal of honor survivor passed away yesterday at the age of 100. God speed to his family and god bless him for his actions which safeguarded our lands.
